Yesteryear Collection

The official Texaco tanker for nearly a century Texaco has evolved into one of the most important petroleum countries in the world. After becoming the first company to market oil in all 48 states in 1928, the company has expanded into the global arena. Today with its subsidiaries and officials, Texaco markets products in Europe, Central and South America, the Caribbean and West Africa.

Through The Years, Ttexco gasoline has been delivered to local service stations and a big shiny tanker, like the one now recaptured in an official diecast model. The tanker pulls up to the station and the driver fills the underground tanks with the various grades of Texaco gasoline.

Bearing the Texaco star and theme "Take It To The Star," the tanker is crafted with a ladder in back, the six-light array on one side, the vehicle number in three places, the Texaco star on the mudflaps, valves on top and hoses underneath. The cab is a precise replica of a Kenworth W900, manufactured by one of America's leading truck manufacturers. You'll discover every intricate detail - including the chrome finished grille, horns, exhaust pipes, whip antenna, air intakes, diesel tanks and wheels. This 1-58 Scale die-cast tanker is produced by - and only available from - Matchbox Collectibles.
